Took me a second to distinguish the dismemberment from the harness black on white separation.. creep factor turned up a notch.

I like it. I also like that Jeremy (and Audrey K) are waiting until the new year to sell their timed editions. November/December has always been a rough time for me to buy their work. Happy all around for sure. I like the darkness of dismemberment in the image. Great work

Hoping 2017 brings a piece by Jeremy that includes a person or character in an environment or context, as subject matter.

It's been a while. Heat Death, The Street, Freeway, Perfect Vacuum etc. are the kind of imagery that brought me on board with Jeremy's work.

As much as I like the single floating cosmonauts, it's been a while since Acedia which is the last one that comes to mind. That was 2012:

Love his work since of course, but I expected and hoped that Perfect Vaccum and Acedia marked the beginnings of a female driven, non-cosmo theme that would be continued.

All that black ink on the German Etching paper will scratch/scuff soooo easy without a layer of varnish over it

From a slight distance it looks like the cosmo is being hung and the bird is part of the hangmans rope. Looks like there is justice even in the dark cold vacuum of space.
