Just started "Into the Wild" today. It's going to be the first time where I can say I read the book, prior to watching the movie after.

Re-read Roger Zelazny's Amber series recently...solid fantasy/sci-fi by one of the most renown genre authors of the 60's and 70's. George RR Martin and he were great friends, with Zelazny showing moral support for Martin in his pre-Thrones days (Martin had just gotten divorced and moved to New Mexico: http://www.georgerrmartin.com/about-geo ... r-zelazny/). Also looks like AMC may be making a series of the books, which will hopefully A) be great because the books are already finished B) they're really well written with little reason to deviate C) modern VFX will actually be pretty great in context of the book.

I read 5 over the course of a week and a half, and would have done a book a day if I didn't have adulting to do.

Changed from my typical nonfiction and went with two mysteries. I enjoyed both.

Started Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy today while I figure out some other books to queue.

On a side note, my neighbor recently came out with a book "MoneyFree"

https://www.amazon.com/Moneyfree-Idea-W ... 1530640695

I tried to give it a go, as he's a nice enough guy, has to be in upper 70's and early 80's. Just not my thing but I'll plug it. If you have $2 and a kindle go for it.

First time reading some H. G. Wells. Picked up 5 classics by him a few weeks back, time to start 'em. And so it begins...
