Nice. But no Sally in bottom right corner why?

Have you WATCHED the great pumpkin special? I know this isn't specifically a GP release but it's clearly a GP poster. And the Sally/Linus subplot is crucial to the GP special. Is Pepppermint Patty even in the GP? I don't remember her. Thanksgiving for sure.

Is it really a print for the Great Pumpkin though?

Not officially, no. But having Snoopy in his full-on Red Baron hunting mode makes it a GP release.

More importantly, that's is a big old blank space that, composition wise, demands a character. And who better than Sally? You already have both Van Pelts, gotta have both Browns. Period.

Eh, Red Baron wasnt exclusive to GP. And Lucy in the Peace shirt takes it out of GP as well.

Sally would fit in there pretty well. I still really dig it though.

What other Peanuts tv shows feature Snoopy hunting the Red Baron?

But yeah, Lucy in a peace shirt, where's that from? Last Peanut I would expect to see in a peace shirt is Lucy.

And Chuck has a banjo? Reference?

Whatever, guess it's just a milk-the-license piece.

Definitely more of an artistic interpretation than anything canon.

Exactly, this is not a GP piece. "Peanuts Moments" has our commissioned artists for this series drawing broadly from the Peanuts legacy, films, strips, eras, but also making the work personal to the artists, the Schulz legacy through their eyes as well, as is the case with Mike DuBois and his flavor here. Sometimes they'll specifically reference one of the films or strips, other times more broadly draw on the Peanuts legacy, its characters, and so more interpretive.
