not impressed with anything in the catalog. new work seems a slight departure from recent imagery. bit more simplistic.

Frankly (pun intended), I would strongly disagree. ;) I think this is a very refreshing direction for POSE. Just got back from the show. I loved every piece! Jordan was a pleasure to speak with as well.

Shep and Cleon stopped by too, so it was great seeing a few of my favorite artists under the same roof.

Here are some photos. Sorry for the not so great quality (took them on my iPhone).

I wish i was more excited about the pieces. Some very good stuff, and it's nice to see different subject matter, but i think prefer the bolder colors of the last few prints.

Quick question for anyone; I noticed the prints that were floated in frames seem to have evenly spaced waves around the outside edge. Intentional or unintentional product of the process?

When you float mount pieces, it's usually with small pieces of archival linen tape or kozo (Japanese paper). In my experience the waves are attributed to the paper float mounted. Additionally, paper expands and contracts when moisture is introduced and Pose's mixed media approach may also contribute to the waves.
I am guessing they were flat pressed but the waves are an inevitability. Looks like they did a great job minimizing it though.

He's definitely moving more into the realm of fine art with this new direction which I believe is a very smart move.
