Love everything about this movie, but as always with Laika Films, the art blew me away..if anyone ever finds something cool for sale related to this movie, go ahead and through it in this thread.

it may be overpriced, but I went ahead and pulled the trigger on an original animation puppet face used in the movie,,some still seem to be available here.... https://www.kernel.com/movies/kubo

Cool site. Thanks for sharing. So you don't know what characters face you get until it comes? Is there one you are hoping for?

I'm thinking chances are i land a kubo face, just based on the fact that there are probably ten times the amount of his faces than others due to the on screen tiime his character had vs. the others. And i guess thats who i would want the most., but i also want monkey ha.

I recently was on vacation and went to Universal Studios Hollywood and they happened to have a Laika exhibit running, which had a bunch of models and other thing. They also had a gift shop, one of the things in the catalogue was limited posters of all their films. They didn't have any of the on display and I didn't have a tube so I didn't press to look at them, I believe the price was up to like $80 so probably decent quality. I ended up just buying a $15 Kubo tote bag. I guess what I'm saying is there ARE some out there, but I never saw them. Checking the Laika homepage it looks like they have exhibits in LA the 30th, maybe whatever is left will become available. Sorry for the rambling response.

Care to share pictures of what you get? Besides the obvious, I'm curious whether or not it comes in a displayable frame. I'm itching to get one because I love the movie.

Curious on that Kubo puppet face, did you ever receive it? Would like to know if it comes with a nice box or anything else to justify that hefty price tag.

Matt's poster is initially a free litho at various cinemas in the UK but I understand a screenprint will follow (I am guessing via Vice Press).

I am interested in the face as well. A quick search revealed a dude's blog post of him receiving a face. As you can see it comes in a cardboard box, nothing fancy. But when you see that figurines are going upwards of 10k (even more for Coraline) a screen used face for 400 not bad price.

Thanks for the share! I saw some Caroline screen used faces on eBay go for $800 but that was 3 different faces in a nice labeled wooden box. I'd be more inclined if it came with a nice box and some type of decent stand for display purposes. The entire figures that went for 10K might have been a steal since some of the Box Trolls figurines went for 25K+ at auction.

sorry for just now getting back.. yes, no display set up was included. .but the face itself is awesome..and on the inside of the face are codes for the different parts of the face (certain kind of eyebrows, mouth, cheeks, etc...).. i am very happy with the purchase. Also, it comes with a COA and is is given on a number out of 300 on the COA. It is Kubo's face, so i think all 300 released were indeed of Kubo. I am happy with my purchase.
