Agreed, but having the series 2 moniker means I will pass. Just as a Narcos poster for the whole series would be my preference like any show. Guess this was a stipulation for getting license, promote the new series. The Breaking Bad poster run never referenced the show series just unique scenarios which worked well.jlabbate wrote:I actually like the minimalist approach for Narcos

bbbbbbblam!
I know I'm in the minority, and i fully expect a bunch of name calling and piling on me for saying this, but i actually don't really like the Netflix release model. Where everyones just binge watching their content. I think it's somewhat harmful even. It kills the whole talking around the watercooler community aspect of fandom for a show. Remember when Sopranos was airing? Gauranteed the only thing everyone was talking about on monday morning was what happened on last night's sopranos. It became an event each week. Alllowed the creators to build suspense and then cash in on it with cliffhangers and plot twists etc. Putting everything out at once definitely satisfies the "I want it now" constituency but i think at the end of the day it's diminishing the overall experience.rubberneck wrote:love these shows on netflix where you get all at once.

Its having access to the content without having to sit thru weekly promotions, teasers and/or forgetting it's on or having to record it. Sure some will binge watch but having the choice is better than not. And the creators no longer need to feel to shoe horn in cliffhanger endings to each episode.mfaith wrote:I know I'm in the minority, and i fully expect a bunch of name calling and piling on me for saying this, but i actually don't really like the Netflix release model. No one is stopping you from creating your own weekly viewing experience tho, but just try and get thru the week on social media these days without having a popular show ruined.
