My coworker brining me chick fil a after he went on an errand during his lunch hour. There is only one in NYC and is far from our office.

Fair point.

My coworker who ordered some is gay and had no problem with it. I think all of my gay friends I talk about it with feel more strongly about fried chicken than the companies political views.

Don't get it too often. Maybe like once a year. Growing up with it before all that came to light you just get a craving for it.
