Working out the curls n' burls

I'm very pleased to reveal my artwork for @theswordofficial's new record 'LOW COUNTRY' - 'a stripped down acoustic presentation of the 'High Country' songs'. This wonderful record will be released September 23rd. I'm very proud to be a part of it and it was an an absolute pleasure and honour to work with these guys. Spent this morning exploring and sketchbooking - a magical woodland right on our doorstep under the canopy of trees with an icey cold river - the perfect location in this insane heat.

Twenty minute life drawing from this morning's session. Working against the clock is a huge challenge for me.. once the timer goes off the model breaks pose and it's game over. An interesting discipline to work on for someone who usually spends a month on a drawing..
