All things Esao Andrews
Already entertaining the thought of getting these beauties out of their Esao hand picked frames and worried about finding a little piece of tape in there..??
You guys are doing it wrong. I believe the unframed are what you're looking for. They do great in flat files and trade and sell way easier..
Seriously, going for the artist's framed is going for the artist look and vision through and through up to the final stage of displaying. I see the art as a whole. Can't separate them down the road.. there are unframed copies for that.

I've sold prints that I previously framed, and I suspect you have too. If there is an issue in the collector community, it's too many prints in flat files and too few on walls. I'm glad to hear these aren't taped up.tranito wrote:Already entertaining the thought of getting these beauties out of their Esao hand picked frames and worried about finding a little piece of tape in there..?? .

They did.35mmpaul wrote:I mean they said all archival materials.
Then they contradicted that statement by saying they weren't sure and would need to confirm.
Which they then did.
There's a lot of archival tape that is used regularly and is completely reversible. Japanese hinges use a paste as well which attached to the art and is reversible, but still technically glued to the work.BB8 wrote:notranito wrote:Already entertaining the thought of getting these beauties out of their Esao hand picked frames and worried about finding a little piece of tape in there..??

I've used 3 or 4 different archival adhesives when framing
