I think the point I meant to make is how much would DHM charge to ship flat if they charge $16 to ship a small tube.

I'm not knocking DHM on the shipping price. I definitely see how it reads that way so that's my bad. For $16 Paragon could ship flat...but I'm sure there's something I'm overlooking in the process.

Yeah. Had a few issues with the last Spusta I had shipped from paragon. DHM please have them ship flat if possible.

Woodstocks Song of Love and Nibbles were also shipped in a tube. I would imagine this will be shipped in a tube as well.

Does it really matter how it's shipped? These things take about a week, tops, to flatten completely. If there is damage, it gets taken care of. And it takes a lot less time to pack a tube than to pack something flat IME. Multiply that by 1000s of pieces and it makes perfect sense that they ship rolled. Who cares.

it does and it doesn't.

If it is that small I could be shipped flat to avoid unneeded curling. Not that its that sensitive of a piece that it can't be rolled.

But the last 12x12 spusta I snagged had some shipping damage due to the lack of tape on the kraft paper and had to be sent back twice.

Shipping 12 x 12 in a tube is drymounting lazy. The prints from the last drop they did are still not flat after being under books since then either. Multiple collectors have complained to mark and paragon press (who handles their shipping) and they dont care so tubed 12x12's for everyone.
