Yea it was great indeed. The northern accents were HEAVY this year. My family is from Northern England and I still had to turn on the subtitles lol.
That lady from Trainspotting was a super weirdo loser.

I was reading they are planning a season 3 but Sarah Lancashire hasn't signed on yet. There's a chance she won't be in it. Which would be tragic. It was also hinted that it would be a Tommy Lee Royce origin story/prequel sort of storyline.

yeah the accents were difficult for my wife and I to understand at times.

I was wondering if a season 3 would be done...seasons 1 & 2 might be difficult to compete with. A tommy lee royce story would be interesting, and if it lead up to season 1 of happy valley.

I was going to post that too. A LOT of stuff in there that is FAR more in depth about the whole story than the Hollywood version. Absolutely worth a watch. Also fascinating it doesn't mention Mark Schultz at all (whereas the Hollywood version was basically told from his angle).

Will watch for sure. Thought this was just the movie at first. Grew up in the same area, and duder was kind of my hero when I was little. All I knew about him was he owned a tank which he used to hunt Nazis, and had bear traps on the pillars at the end of his driveway.

I'm half way through a masterpiece called "Navy SEALS: The Battle for New Orleans" about (as its name indicates) Navy SEALS hunting down zombies in (as its name doesn't indicate) Batton Rouge
Just before this one I watched another piece of art called "Tomorrow, When the War Began"

Into the 3rd episode of season two...
It's going to get rough for a detective who didn't stop to think they would find water in Mendelson's lungs. :?
Love the acting and the heavy rain scenes.
