The big difference though with the wristband model and what apparently happened at PJ is that you need to go get another wristband and wait again. These people at PJ were just loitering around the 3 stands bouncing from one to another while people kept waiting behind them. At least with wristbands, you need to go wait your turn again.o4phish20o wrote:Everyone keeps mentioning Phish being so good with posters. But don't really get that. Yeah they give you a wrist band, only done the last 2 years at that. And even so, once they cut it off when you buy, you can still just cycle back and get in line and get another wrist band again. Which is what almost all of the first 50 or so people do. Not only that, but the amount of "paid" line waiters is always 25+ at the very front of the line. These are people who don't have tickets nor know the band they are waiting to buy Merch for. Which really is the biggest problem with MSG. They need to require a ticket to get to the Merch booth area. With a seperate line to the will call area. 2cents

They sold out in less than 5 seconds, more like 1.3 seconds. If the poster pops up in the middle of your 2 second refresh, you miss. Sometimes it just comes down to split second luck. You're not the only one who didn't get it.par10ker wrote:I really don't see how these sell out in 5 seconds. That is how long it was from constantly refreshing to the poster popping up to adding into my cart. What a disappointment. Again.

It's like people need constant a reminder that there's hundreds and sometimes thousands of other people all trying to score a small allotment of posters.

It's also possible that it's closer to half that number since the photos we saw only showed boxes 5-9 were labeled Emek and it was for Philly. So it COULD be that boxes 1-4 were for night 1's poster.dutchflowers wrote:Pearl Jam never numbers their show editions. They also don't ever say how many were made.scripto wrote:How many prints were released at the show?
However, someone found photo evidence that there were 9 boxes of 200 prints for the Emek Philly, so 1800 is probably pretty close for the Welker too.
Either way it's impossible to know but safe to assume it's somewhere above 800 and below 2,000, with a good amount of them gorilla gripped and stuffed into tubes without kraft paper by fans who don't care about it's potential value and only want it as (gasp) a souvenir.
