I don't need a H8 print, but I can't deny that this is an exceptionally gorgeous print that I can see getting better with age and years later down the line, this is the kind of print that will make you want to revisit the movie.

Was that gif directed at me? If so, I don't get it.MonteAlderaan wrote:BangElDesh wrote:Seriously though, I didn't know that someone is a superficial friend if they ask you about the concert of a print you have on your wall. I thought maybe they were just curious. Whoopsy!
The real question is if Tyler Stout did an amazing Nickelback print, would you hang it?
Bunch of the mondo posters have screening dates on them that most have never been to. Or screenings that didn't happen. Or dates that don't exist. And that is cool too.
jkw3000 - Nobody ever really wins in this hobby.

I know a few folks that have that personal policy of not buying gigprints for shows they've not been to. I don't really subscribe to that myself, but i do prefer it to at least be a band i like. If it's not for a show i've been to, and not a band i like, the art has to be pretty fantastic for me to go for it.
So it goes...

I'm embarrassed, those house guest queries have taken their toll, please take my Stout Robocops. I'm a fraud...35mmpaul wrote:Bunch of the mondo posters have screening dates on them that most have never been to. Or screenings that didn't happen. Or dates that don't exist. And that is cool too.

That's actually common practice. Tons of dudes do that.
Jesus Christ this thread.

There's hanging a poster for a show you haven't been to and then there's hanging a Nickelback poster.BangElDesh wrote: Was that gif directed at me? If so, I don't get it.

Are the shipping rates still messed up? Or did they increase the prices? I went and checked the price for a 18x24 poster and got "Mixed Merchandise $17.30", but my last order with Mondo (Silent Hill) is "Mixed Merchandise $14.30".

Yah, it looks like some things are messed up. Some people are paying more than what they used to pay. Only people that seem to be getting a good deal are Canadians who are somehow paying less to get a poster than people in the US. Makes no sesnse.slunkey wrote:Are the shipping rates still messed up?
