Got a new frame up i tried to share last week, but EB was down. Sooo, I'm doing it now. I did post this on Facebook tho
My ROTJ by Olly Moss. Other 2 coming very soon..
This took me a while to figure out as I had wanted to frame in a way where it looks great hanging as is, but I can flip a switch and make it AMAZING! Granted in reality I would only have it on 5 hours ish a month when we had company but i still wanted to do research to make sure that LEDs wouldn't harm the print if i left it on. Looks like LEDs are the way to go and why most museums are switching their lighting over to it. Emits little to no UV and the amount it does emit, is less than what comes through the museum glass. Thats why bugs are attracted to lights that are not LED, 'cause of the UV they emit.
So Heres my frame up.
I floated the print over a white mat.
Here's it with leds lit up
Here it is on disco night

Thanks man! It was a compounded effort with my framer / friend and myself. We even used her husband to help with the LED wiriing. It was led that was on a reel.hogie777 wrote:wow that is special. did you do that yourself? did you use rope LED?

A few more originals from Vanessa Foley I had framed up. The bees are floated over a back fabric mat and the kestrel is floated over a grey mat with a black fabric liner on the inside of the molding. Both moldings are nice and chunky which is what I was going for with these little works (the smaller bee is only 3" x 4" paper size).

A recent set of frameups, thought I'd share. Might tweak a few things but I'm happy with the outcome:
