both very tasty brews.fredo wrote:Had a Delirium Tremens and Gulden Draak tonight. Let me be the first to say: if they put their minds to it Belgium most certainly has a future in this whole craft beer thing.
pay via paypal, use credit card, file dispute at the 20 day mark if suspicious. don't deal with noobs. don't trade with noobs. request feedback ahead of time. there are lots of good people 'round here.
A successful first release. Got there 2 minutes before they opened and was about 25th in line. They had 47 extra bottles so we were able to buy 2 each until they were gone. Once the line died down they announced they had 10 more so jumped back in line to snag a third bottle. Then grabbed a few more of a different variety and had a few beers there. Good times.

Baker wrote:First release today for my Yazoo "State of Funk" sour club. All single barrel beers so really looking forward to trying these as they come out. Also some new glassware that ill have to grab one of. (Damn, Instagram photos are posting huge nowadays)
""Release 1 (Hello)" - 6.1% ABV - A sour blonde ale aged in Sauv Blanc barrels with 5 different Brettanomyces strains and 2 souring bacterias for 1 year. We then added to the barrel fresh whole Kumquats along with the zest and juice of fresh Satsuma oranges to age another month giving the beer a nice citric/sweet/tart character."

Whats actually in the glass is the Indomitus Dolium Reserve (gold waxed small bottles). I actually forget the difference between the regular and the reserve of those bottles, but it was pretty tasty, much more of an old ale than a sour. The big bottles are all Hello which was the first club only single barrel release.sidewaysscott wrote:what is it?
