I'm so bummed out about Tim's business model of printing the siht out of things that I left my set rolled in the tube unopened. These print don't even deserve the decency of being flattened.

Honestly his prints aren't even worth the paper they are printed on in my opinion.

Fool me once... shame on me... fool me twice...
I feel similar, and will never purchase from him again....

Anytime I see this thread bumped I assume Tim hit the reprint button. I can't honestly recall a time when the thread was at the top because of a new release.

How many times, guys? Seriously, how many times? Jesus Christ, time really is a flat circle - at least in this thread.

WOW! yeah that is fraud. Doyle needs to stop using limited edition if he plans to reprint. Just go "1st Edition* " "*prints may be reprinted in the future". Its not that complicated. If he truly cares about being a business, that is what businesses do to protect themselves. And if he is making the money he says he is, he needs to go get the licenses.

this would be more theoretically correct: "Only 100 individual prints will be sold for each design in this EDITION"

just couple letters difference

If someone was so inclined, they should check out new yorks laws wrt limited edition art. I'm not a New York lawyer and I've stopped buying from here, so now just involved for the lulz, but there may be something there.

This is so dumb at this point. I guess he'll keep getting some noobs that are into limited prints but most people that care about that sort of thing have got to know by now that nothing he puts out is safe from reprinting.

More egregious to me is the book kickstarter reprinting his unreal estate prints as pledge gifts. You'd think Spoke Art wouldn't want something from their shows getting the Doyle reprint treatment but I guess they are into it as well. At least when your kickstarter gets 53k from backers.

I'm sure he and Budich are both milking it for all it's worth, they're both hacks. Budich can't even sell a small run for a poster thought up by a celebrity on G1988's website for a movie tons of folks have wanted a poster for.

Love this thread. All the flippers come out to play on this one. How many flippers have posted on this last page alone. I see it like this, Tim draws and prints up to him what he does with it really. At least he is selling his own prints, the one's that have no resale value due to a guarantee that they will some day be reprinted. Maybe that is why ........

That's not a flip...he's probably just testing the waters for a good trade....lulz! Acceptance is the the first step to admitting you're no better than anybody else.
