I actually just saw the email after I posted. Then it was sold out.... I had no idea they moved that quick.

And yup, Philly. What about you?

Near Reading.

I always try to get my post in here before the email comes out.
There was a 20-minute window after my post before the email on the 18, and about five minutes for the 23.

(the 18 was already available when I posted, but the 23 was invisible until 10:35)

I do not like Islay at all, but if you are from Pa, or know someone who is, they JUST put the Laphroaig 18 Year Old on closeout for $79.99 in our stores, the same price as 15 Year.

Newsletter from TPS Friday said they received their last private barrel from Woodford. Woodford has suspended the program so they have no idea when or if they will offer it again. We went down last night to pick up a couple more. Were highly recommended a Henry McKenna 10 yr BIB private barrel of which they only had 3 bottles left. Was also recommended Rowans Creek. We thought we would just ahead and try Bernheim Wheat Whiskey since she seems to like higher wheat whiskeys. She likes it but I think it's pretty flat and doesn't offer much. Should of went with the recommendations.

Surprised nobody sings the praises of Midleton's more often. I know it's a blend and the snobs don't care for it but man is this a great tasting whiskey.

Any reviews on Old Beezer 10yr, or Blood Oath?

Also, what are your go-to bottles in the $50 range (can be a little more or less). Unfortunately I live in Pa, so I'm somewhat restricted, but I look forward to your suggestions.

cool - you have the largest and most well-stocked liquor store on Earth at your disposal!

A place to start - use this link:

http://www.lcbapps.lcb.state.pa.us/weba ... cdeNo=3187

to find the bottles of Bernheim Wheat Whiskey that are nearest to you.
enter your county in the drop-down
If there are none close to you, find a store with multiple bottles in your region, call them to verify that they are available and have them put aside a couple for you. Then call your closest store and have them put in a transfer order. You can give them the store number where you found your bottle(s)

Closeout priced at $23.99

We also have EH Taylor Small Batch for $35.99, all the time.
Eagle Rare 10 Year, $28.99
Elijah Craig 12 Year $26.99 ($24.99 next month)
Weller Reserve 7 Year $19.99

Laphroaig 18 Year Old for $79.99, if you swing that way…

too many to list them all

Thanks for the list. I've had Elijah before and thought it was delicious!

I think I'm going to take a stab at Woodfords double oak and one of the ones (probably eagle rare) you listed above.

Woodford Reserve DO is my favorite by a long stretch. Eagle Rare is awesome too.

As much as I love everything from Heaven Hill, I have never had E Craig, that is gonna change this weekend.
