The only difference is that in this instance the ritual will involve five fools instead of the traditional jock, scholar, fool, whore, and virgin combo.jkw3000 wrote:The twist is that all the drama is being manipulated by a shadowy organization behind the scenes working for some Lovecraftian god in order to keep EB working.

I'm sure we can work out a more efficient mix of fools, virgins, and whores. Who needs jocks and scholars anyway.

I completely agree that this piece isn't conceptual in the way the PCC print is, but the viewer knows the setup of the film in the first 15 minutes. We see the five sacrifices, the control room, and get a sense of the stakes. This reveals some of the nightmare creatures, sure, but doesn't really give anything away, in my opinion.WhiteRat wrote:Agree completelyRadRacing wrote:Gives away a little too much IMO.

No one purchasing and hanging this has not seen film. That's why they want a print, cos they loved the film.

I left work yesterday at 5:30, what'd I miss? Dan hates rich people and Kyle is supporting David Duke for president?
OCCUPY COMMISSIONS. I bet we could get Fairey to do a print.

I'm sure the folks in your commission group are really stoked at seeing how you've acted in the comments.

Separate the art from the...guy who paid the artist to create it and also took a profit off the top.PepsiPerfect wrote:I'm sure the folks in your commission group are really stoked at seeing how you've acted in the comments.

Isn't this a not for profit commission? I read that the lead doesn't make money off of the commissions. And that he will only allot himself a run of "commissioners proof" to be sold by him at cost but he has the option to sell it above cost when he wants to.seeker1115 wrote:...guy who paid the artist to create it and also took a profit off the top.
