Remarqued prints in progress. Airbrushing acrylic base coats using frisket & low-tack adhesive. Next i'll transfer the drawing to the print using graphite paper. Just getting this far is a trail of patience

Cross-post from the Mondo thread:
sutfin wrote:The "DEVILMAN" signed/numbered artist edition screened posters will be made available as matching sets, December 16th at 10AM PT in the Sutfin online shop (link in profile). ✨Each set purchase includes the chance to win one of two high-gloss transparent films used to create the actual poster & finally hand-painted by myself (seen here in production). These one-off pieces were colored with cel-vinyl, comparable to how the animated series was created in the early 70s. Winners will be chosen at random & with very limited numbers, chances are good! Thank you #devilman #gonagai #mondo #handmade #sometimesgoodguysdontwearwhite #mikesutfin

The amount of craftsmanship that Mike puts into all of his stuff is crazy impressive. Coming up with things like this and the remarques that he does, to make things extra special, is really cool of him to do.
So it goes...

Totally. Here's some more about the release and raffle, with some stellar detail shots of the painted films: http://mikesutfin.blogspot.com/2015/12/ ... affle.html

It was a amazing end of 2015 for me. Here is he last arrival for me and by far the most epic boxes of the year.... It included Mike Sutfin's Lost Ships remarque study from the Mondo original show which is incredible. Also the pride and joy of my collection his Poisom Born original watercolor, ink, and prismacolors. Honored and privledged to own PB. And finally another one of his Star Wars pencils Quinlan Vos... Can't wait to see what Mike comes up with in 2016!! Big year!!! Gonna be exciting!!! Battle On!!! http://imgur.com/a/7Sk4B
