Believe it or not, it took me 8 years on this forum and tons of print hoarding before I finally went on to try something else and purchase my first original piece, a tiny 3x3 drawing from Audrey Kawasaki. It'll be a nice addition to the 3 AK prints already hanging.

I guess it felt quite good inside, because a month later, I was purchasing my second OG, a slightly bigger, but still small, 3.5 x 5 drawing on a passport page from the VISA series by French artist PEZ. This is killer. Really happy I was lucky enough to grab it (no pun with the image intended).

Should be both simultaneously fun and inexpensive to frame. :pint:

Happy to share! Leary, to avoid derailing, you can discuss PEZ's work and get answers to your questions here : http://forum.expressobeans.com/viewtopi ... lit=riveau

Love those PEZ passports!

Got this watercolor by Luqman Reza Mulyono, or jongkie on instagram. He sells super affordable originals every so often if you're into animal art. Gorgeous in person.

Have not posted for awhile. Some great stuff on here. Love the new pickup Treweman.

The top work is by Jeanette hayes (oil on canvas). The sculpture is by Joe Grillo and the book is the signed Hirst Spot Catalogue.

It was from a series of works she did mixing Sailor Moon with classical paintings. There were 5 large canvases (5ft) this one medium size and a few smaller studies (all sold). All but this one were mixes with de kooning. She was recently included in the artnet top 30 artists in the US.
