You read incorrectly.

Every bootleg can be identified by the right person, be it KAWS or Be@rbrick.

Do not but until you know it's legit. The amount of cats I hear about buying, and then making sure it's real baffles me. Also, do not assume the pictures listed are for the item being sold. Ax for specific pictures proving the toy is in hand. If the seller can't do that, move on.
