yes Marvel doesnt care as long as you pay. However Buckhammer is right, Acme Archives owns the print rights to Star Wars, Indiana Jones, all the SABAN brands (Power Rangers) and ton more. Acme goes out and purchases these licenses to sell them as a middle man ( at least they used to). I was told by Saban last year when I inquired about the Power Rangers for a friend that I should contact ACME and get the license from them. Is it possible for THE FORCE AWAKENS to be able to be licensed out to multiples, sure. Is it possible it can't, yup. Gotta wait and see.mfaith wrote:Considering Marvel has spread their licenses around to multiple parties, and they're owned by the same parent company, I don't think it's a big leap to say multiple folks probably have license rights to produce prints for Star Wars.

Right on. Thanks for the additional detail. Wasn't aware of Acme's place in all of this. It's interesting.pittidesart wrote:yes Marvel doesnt care as long as you pay. Was in traffic and missed the drop this morning.
If anyone picked up a spare Nightcrawler, I'd love to take it off your hands.
Edit: NVM; Persistence in hitting checkout carries the day!

Isn't Bottleneck set to release some SW prints or maybe I was just dreaming, oh well?
actually when it comes to these posters... it's merchandise rights. Film rights is for distribution of the film and public viewings. Companies sure can license out to multiples, but alot don't. If a film has merch rights with lets just say Mondo, some companies will not allow another company to license the same film due to conflict.
With today being the final day of the final Mondo show for 2015, just wanted to congratulate (and thank) them for having such an awesome year. The gallery shows were unique and a lot of fun; Mondo-Con was an absolute blast; and they had a pretty strong year release-wise. I really like the direction they're going with having more original art focused gallery shows, and I hope to see that continue into the new year. Can't wait to see what's in store for 2016.
So it goes...
