@padelimike Yeah, it's with the full size bottles. If I price out all 3 locally it would run around $210... That's why I'm tempted but haven't really had any of 'em before so it's still a gamble for me.
@bahhmerr Interesting to hear about the Macallan 10... Another one to add to the list!

I have a bottle of the Glenlivet 12 currently, its good not my fav (I prefer the Mac) but its good for the price, haven't had the 15 or 18 though. If all three of those bottles are 750ml it looks like a pretty good deal

The Glenlivet 15 is my favorite "commercial" Scotch.
It is called the "French Oak" version, and has a completely different flavor profile than the 12 or the 18YO.
Similarly, with The MacAllan, their 10, 15 and 17YO appellations are the "Fine Oak" line, and differ from the standard 12 and pricey 18YO in much the same way the two The Glenlivet lines differ from each other.
I love the 10 and 15YO The MacAllan too.

I had it for the first time last night. I keep saying it's the best $100 bottle of whiskey I've ever bought, which is a drymounting masterstroke considering it's only a $27 bottle of whiskey.63schoeffling wrote:Just had some of the Crown Rye. Pretty darn good but not exactly as good as all the hype.

What's a good price for the Pappy 12? In stores... Not aftermarket.

If it's available buy it.

It was $50 at TPS in Cincy. They tend to run low price wise compared to Mom & Pop's.
TPS has a lot of the Crown Royal Hand Selected Barrel. On line shows 143 in stock, $58 a bottle. We have so much right now that buying anything at all just isn't a good idea for us. We have a lot to get through and experience first before anymore purchases should happen. We have 33 bottles right now with only 7 of those even being cracked open.
stay thirsty my friends

go out and get some of the new Jack Daniel's Single Barrel Barrel Proof immediately
it's a home run, and I really can't stand regular Jack Black Label
The bottle I had came in at a robust 128.3 proof.
I thought the Holiday Select version was pretty great, but this tops it!
