Maybe they didn't have likeness rights for the people that look off.jmagee87 wrote:I'm not saying it detracts from the print. I still think it's amazing. Just think it's odd when an artist is spot on with some likenesses and off on others in the same print

All Rich Kelly's likenesses are stylized. They are all intentionally off or exaggerated to fit the style of the piece. With this, it doesn't seem intentional because some are spot on and some aren't. I'm not trying to say she was going for photorealism, but I don't think the likenesses being off was intentional either.PrintNoob87 wrote:Yeah, it'd be kinda like saying Rich Kelly's likenesses were off. Think this more about the artist's personal style vs. just drawing poor likenesses.
It certainly was not intentional. Her specialty is female likenesses, especially Asian ones. Keep in mind this is her third screenprint EVER, she hasn't really done any serious work involving heavy male likenesses before this. It was bold of her to design a composition with so many, but I don't think it's bad at all.jrsheppa wrote:All Rich Kelly's likenesses are stylized. Honestly, after the rest of the variant artwork was finished and color was added, I forgot all about the likenesses.

I'm not crazy about the print but the artist is extremely talented. Looking forward to seeing more from her. Congrats to everyone involved
