The black and whites are gorgeous. The color variant is also quite good but I get lost in the colors.

Different comps for reg and var? Highly detailed line work? How much work are you guys making her do? Goddamn.

What you see are basically 2 of the 3 "sketches" she submitted in the very beginning of the process. That's just how she works. And we just couldn't let them all go to waste.Celsius wrote:Different comps for reg and var? Highly detailed line work? How much work are you guys making her do? Goddamn.

What ended up being the final run for the Variant? I was fortunate enough to score both, but curious since it's not posted.

My thoughts exactly. The print overall is stunning. But some of the likenesses are spot on and some are way offjrsheppa wrote:It's brilliant, A+ for creativity, but some of the likenesses are off. Just saying.

Likeness is a big deal for some people, and for some people it's not
Somehow I don't think she was going for photorealism herejmagee87 wrote:My thoughts exactly. The print overall is stunning. But some of the likenesses are spot on and some are way offjrsheppa wrote:It's brilliant, A+ for creativity, but some of the likenesses are off. Just saying.

Yeah, it'd be kinda like saying Rich Kelly's likenesses were off. Think this more about the artist's personal style vs. just drawing poor likenesses.
I'm not saying it detracts from the print. I still think it's amazing. Just think it's odd when an artist is spot on with some likenesses and off on others in the same print
