Scored a variant yesterday so I'm stoked. Now just need a Cap Variant and the marvel set is complete to date. And I enjoyed the movie. It's not as good as the first but I credit a lot of that to the wow factor wearing off. We had already seen the team together on the big screen so that wasn't there anymore in this one.

Regular fetching more value than the variant. Has this happened with any other stouts?

I feel like it was that way with the first Avengers as well.

jkw3000 wrote:Guessing the fact that it doesn't match other people's Stout Marvel variant sets at all is not helping. Nothing against the art at all (as mentioned before there's something pretty classic about a gold and silver color scheme), but no doubt it sticks out if it's next to Avengers and GOTG variants.

Its because they have switched the C&C with the variant this time around so not much demand for the var.

I almost always prefer the regular, but I haven't been a fan of the new red/blue scheme. It's ok on Guardians, but I find it distracting on this to have a blue Thor and Vision. Goonies is even worse imo. I wish they would've stuck with the colors of the 1st Avengers, but I think the c&c colorway is the best of what's available. Hopefully that was a troll about them being for sale.
