It looks insanely good. Like I was surprised by how much contrast they were able to get from it. It works so well.
So it goes...

AWWWWSHHHHHIIII....

Just to reiterate from above - the test prints are just samples of the final laser etched wood edition. You can preorder at the con for $400 now and $400 once it's complete (sounded like December). The test edition looks fantastic, and Daniel told me that he's aiming for an even better final product printed on nicer wood. It looks fantastic - the depth from the etching and the grain of the wood peeking through is so nice.
If I may add, the pre-order price is an early-bird price. The online drop will be dearer.

The DD booth, from my viewpoint, has been the most appealing aspect of MC 2 years going.

Anybody know how Daniel's booth has gone? Any sellouts besides clayboards? Anybody make sure his hands haven't fallen off his wrists by now?

His hands were doing ok when I chatted with him midday. He did some clayboards, but not as many as last year, and I think that helped a lot. I was surprised he did them at all to be honest. The ones i saw looked incredible though.
So it goes...
