I just hate seeing people get caught up in hype. You're vulnerable when this happens making you a easy target for flippers who prey on it. Same song and dance every big release.

It just didnt make sense. A title like Avengers to be THAT limited and sell out that fast from a somewhat surprise drop? Not only that but a email that went on a weekday when most people are at work? There was just no way that was true.

Plus Adam at HCG likes to do things official. No way Marvel would agree to only catering to a select few. Past Marvel Mondo drop edition sizes only further prove this.

Good luck to you all tomorrow.

there was never any chance that the run would just be limited to the packages HCG sold yesterday..none, zip, zilch.

Did we ever lock down the ratios for this hobby? 25% art, 25% hype, 49% butthurt, 1% meaningful connection? I need some science up in hurr.

Where does the 20% artist/gallery ass-kissing come into account?

Is Anti-Hype lumped in the Hype category?

I'm not a mathematician dammit, if I was that good at math I wouldn't be pouring paper currency into paper comic-book-movie posters.
