Still waiting on that Ansin Blade Runner as part of the Summer of '82 screenings.

Holy fudge balls. That's amazing.

Ansin and Ken do this a lot. Crank out a few mediocre posters and everyone is like zomg what happened they aren't good anymore. Then they put out something like this and everyone's like zomg I knew they'd be back I always had faith zomgiso

I think the poster is pretty great. I love the Art Deco flourishes on the sides. I just wish that the Rocketeer's helmet was turned to the side or looking directly at the camera. The head positioning is a bit awkward for my tastes. That and I love the look of the helmet so I'd like to see more of it. All that criticism aside, this is still my favorite thing to see so far coming out of MondoCon.

I'm assuming based on the only credit on the poster being the one to the creator of the characterer, that this is for the comic and not the film. Also a total lack of Disney branding.

It's the ONLY possible justification for not featuring "a young and voluptuous Jennifer Connelly" as far as I can tell. :D

Good points though!

You look at his Ghost in the Shell and Brazil, and it is very hard to not imagine that an Ansin Blade Runner would be the Blade Runner print to end them all.

It'd be badass as all hell if there were metallics on that Dracula variant. If the title was a light shimmer of silver metallics, oh gad
