Very much agree...and for the record. They are wonderful.Thalass wrote:Pretty much my reaction as well, haha. I like them all...very surreal work these days. Love it or hate it, it's hard to argue these aren't extremely original.
I really like the look of "The Snare." Insane detail in both the drawing and painting, but the painting is almost uncanny with how "frozen" it looks. Really incredible work all across the board though
Then there should be an ink version down the line we could hope to see! Unless I am mistaken.ConstantStruggle wrote:Let's hope it's for a future letterpress!
Edit, the last two days is the longest time I have spent indoors consecutively in months just to have a shot at these beauties!

I was thinking they could easily do a letterpress set of these show pieces. I like the pencils better in some ways. It seems like the fine details of his lines are lost in the transition to paint. Love this guy!ConstantStruggle wrote:Let's hope it's for a future letterpress!

that's so awesome.
pay via paypal, use credit card, file dispute at the 20 day mark if suspicious. don't deal with noobs. don't trade with noobs. request feedback ahead of time. there are lots of good people 'round here.
That bukkake bat is drymounting wild. My favorite of what's been posted from the show so far. The action of the animal and crumbling tower hold more fascination for me than the rest, which while the skill and execution are amazing, lack narrative and look like sigils rather than worlds unto themselves. I would love to see them all in person some day nonetheless.
