I'd like to get everyone's opinions on movies that have numerous prints but don't really have one or two that "does it" for you or something you would actually like to hang on your wall. I have many of these but I will focus on two - Lost Boys and Dazed and Confused. Lost Boys has numerous prints but none really are that great in my opinion. Yeah, I know there's a Stoudt - and I know many really like the guy, but while that print is okay, I 'd rather have a home run hanging on the wall for one of my favorite movies. Also I do think his print is okay, but not 15-1800 dollars okay. Next is Dazed and Confused which is one of the best movies of all time (it's a fact) and is very underserved in print form. the Sperry is fine but he movie deserves something way cooler. Very interested in everyone's thoughts on movies they would like to see different / new ideas / takes in print form.

Have you seen the Stout in person, or are you just not into the image?

Funny. No I haven't seen it in person, it wouldn't change my opinion. It's cool, but Stoudt's style isn't up there for me.

Two films I'd never hang a poster for.

Waterworld now, that's something we can talk about.

I think that's nuts, but I do hope you finally find one that appeals to you.

I happen to think the Stout is just about perfect. And these two as well. Bonus points to JRD for adding Tim Cappello.

Blasphemy! It has a lot of elements from the film, the likenesses are perfect, and the gold and silver metallics are pretty great. :P

P.S. Buy my copy

I will agree that the likenesses are spot on and someone should buy your copy.

So yeah that first one is probably my favorite of what exists but it's like a 6-7 for me- floating heads only go so far some times. Again the Stoudt is okay just not above a 7 for me. I want a 9-10 on my wall

I respect your opinion, So you'd really want to hang a Waterworld? Are there's good prints? I'm not crazy about the movie, it's okay

Glad you like that. It's not my thing. I think I'd want something that has the characters more prominent.
