I agree. His metropolis variant is one of my favorite movie posters that I own. The detail is insane and the layout/illustration is beautifully executed. I do like the NCFOM a lot also. I think my biggest disappointment is his children of men poster. It's one of my favorite movies of all time but the poster is not what the movie deserved. Still one of the most talented artists in the game though
Children of Men is a hard poster to do.
I love the moment Ken picked because it is one of my favorite endings in all of cinema. It just ends at such a perfect moment of hope after the crushing despair of the previous 90minutes. Most movies would continue the scene and show them going on the boat celebrating, etc.
And the metallics on that print are out of control in person.
But I could see how there is definitely other visual moments to pull from to get a great poster.
Agree. That movie is one of my all-time favorites, and I would also go to bat for it being the best one made in the 2000s. Picking the right scene to represent all the madness and harsh moments of that film was tough, but he nailed it for pretty much exactly the reason you stated (helps that Hope is one of the key themes of that movie). And yeah, it looks just unreal in person with those metalics. It's one of the few prints I went through the trouble to get a big fancy matte and thick frame for, and I've loved it ever since.
Meanwhile, love his Mad Max the more I look at it. Whoever posted that pic earlier of the movie sky got it right, since it's really vibrant in the movie. If anything I just wish the oranges were brighter.

Without verifying I'm assuming this is a typo. But someone else can prove me wrong. None of them have been a screenprint.

That bothers you? How about the weird hand position and glaringly red open mouth of the guy on the car. If it weren't for those I would be buying this release. My eye is just drawn to it and it bothers me so much.
It's no longer about the print. It's a lottery for the Furiosa OG, $55 per ticket.
