This image feels totally underrated. I love Rich's take on this scene.
Up!

Agreed. I dig Francavilla's for sure, but this is such a great perspective.rubberneck wrote:Acquired.

This was my favorite from the show. I waited for an AP copy. Can't wait to see it in person.

Underrated. Looking forward to seeing it in person but love the take Kelly does with it - visible Muldoon, great title treatment that's involved in the scene, love the little lighting effects and the use of color to separate the eye-drawing elements from the more blended in wooded elements (where the raptors lie), love the out of focus foreground elements to help with depth. Something fun, very alternative, and with a little liberty taken to spin a fan-favorite scene into something that's definitely identifiable as Rich Kelly. Not as daring conceptually as, say, Francavilla or Slater, but still my favorite from the show.

How articulate and kind. Thank you! And thanks to anyone who's picked one up from me. And an even bigger thanks to those who have supported my work over the years!jkw3000 wrote:Underrated. Hey, thank YOU for knocking out the whole "alternate movie poster" idea. Your work rocks in general, this is just another winner.RichKelly wrote:How articulate and kind. Thank you! Also one thing I really love about this one - the puddle of water at the bottom that's reflecting Muldoon's foot and the title as a physical element in the image. It's such a little touch, but so indicative of how well put together this piece is.
