Nice work. Considering the official license, it would've been cool to see a billing block of some sort in the ample shadowy foreground areas.

I have to agree the piece is awesome but the title looks like he took some word art over a hand sketched piece.

I see what our saying. It woulda looked much cooler carved out of the rock face, IMO.

the gold in the skyline is distracting

yeah I'm not a huge fan of the single isolated color. Though I suppose it was ok with the Charlie Brown ones.

I love Nicos style but I'm not much of a movie poster guy. The title font looks better in the closeup pictures tho. But it looks like I'll wait for his next one.

ITT it's that they are in such contrast to the surroundings. That is ,along with the golden New York skyline, they have a sorta art deco vibe whereas the rest is "normal Delort".

Think it's kind of a neat concept, the projector projecting an image (the title) of King Kong that is at odds with what Kong actually is. Obviously matching what happens in the movie later on...also a bit meta.

Few closeups from Nicolas Delort to share on Kong. Going for '30s silver screen aesthetic on lettering.

I like this, but *ugh* why does everything have to be on foil?

Foils are nice, and shiny. I am just put off by the prices.

Prices for Darkhall prints have been worryingly high recently.
