I'm a sucker and did the print. Just in the time I had to think it over, another 20 or so sold.

EDIT before I even post:
LOL because I was in such a panic, what I thought was the print, was actually the bookplate. haha. Good, because I wasn't entirely feeling the image as a print.

I might have grabbed the art edition if he had posted an example of the sketch, but didn't want to tie up a grand until September on something I might not enjoy. James has a wide range of sketch quality and while I'd hope an edition of 5 at $1000 would be a great one, it's still a gamble. Good luck to those who bought one!

See I thought about doing that but I was sure he wouldn't reply by the time it sold out. Though ripping the page out isn't a bad idea now that I think about it. Congrats.

Missed out on the sketch-edition, but am not so upset now that I see the price was $1,000 - I would probably not have purchased one at that price. Very happy to have grabbed one of the boxed editions, though - and it keeps up my streak of having a signed copy of every James Jean publication.

I'll send funds in advance, obviously!
Is it a much cheaper option? Just wondering. Shipping to France is $55, somehow.
