Has me wondering if these breweries are all turrible or if they're just not offering up their A game for the "club". Prolly a bit of both.

My sis-in-law brought up the beer of the month club groupon offer asking if I would be interested in that as a birthday gift. I respectfully said no because I assumed I would not be getting any top shelf brews.

Round 1 tonight is Stone's enjoy by 4/20. It's really solid but has anybody tried their Winter Harvest? I almost grabbed one but $19 for one pint made me think twice.

There are some good brews. Smuttynose stuff is solid, never had it before. Bent River & Fordham fudge though. Oof.

True.

On second thought I'll suggest that as an acceptible gift if each shipment isn't just a few shelf turds.

I know too many people who only drink bud light. :hanging:
My buddy only drank keystone for years. He found four of the elusive keystolopes and one can that was sealed with only about 2oz of really thick sludge...

I started bringing my own beer to every get together even if there is a keg

:pint: Keystone and any beer of the sort can't even add up to what fast food is to a meal. Guilt comes more with fast food, but at least it has some kind of taste to it.

they're never good even if free. generally shitty breweries and/or the stuff no body buys.
pay via paypal, use credit card, file dispute at the 20 day mark if suspicious. don't deal with noobs. don't trade with noobs. request feedback ahead of time. there are lots of good people 'round here.
