COT and listen daily at work. I'm the one who told Mark to pick Mitch's mind about the whole commission groups thing.

I usually catch up on the bonus content on a saturday or sunday, unless the main episode is espically great or an artist i'm a big fan of.

COT member here. It's my morning jam while I work from home. Also like to get behind a couple days when I know I am about to travel out of town. Great road listening. Music and audio books can tend to eventually put me to sleep on night drives, but Mark and the content has a way of keeping me up.

Mark is pretty Into open editioning and it obviously has worked well for hero, so I'd be surprised if the interview would be anything but friendly

Ah, but Tim doesn't do open editions - he does new editions and reprint editions. Suppose he's still trying to harness the power of "limited" while essentially doing what amounts to open edition prints.AlanCampbell wrote:Mark is pretty Into open editioning and it obviously has worked well for hero, so I'd be surprised if the interview would be anything but friendly
I don't care one way or the other - there's plenty of room in this world for both artists who do open and limited editions. I think many on EB just may have felt misled by Tim and thought his intentions were unclear. All power to artists who want to do open editions, but a lot of the limited edition paper fiends will want nothing to do with it. Hero Design does just fine without the support of a majority of EB...I'm sure the same is/can be true of Nakatomi. Nobody should expect to be able to change the collector mindset though...
In the end, I wish everyone well and hope everyone can make lots of money while irritating the fewest amount of people possible.

I just donated to the COT here http://www.aidpodcast.com/donate/ ... and got a 404 page not found. Did I donate to the wrong site?

I'd e-mail Mark about it. He's super quick when it comes to writing back.sixstringer wrote:I just donated to the COT here http://www.aidpodcast.com/donate/ ... and got a 404 page not found. Did I donate to the wrong site?

Yeah, it's a great listen. I'm not a COT member, but if there's an episode I want to keep listening to, I just buy it for $0.99!

Halfway through today's Doyle episode, some great conversation going on. Really liked Mark's thoughts on pop culture/licensed work and the need for more original stories/art

Always exciting when there's a new episode available, especially when it's a SHOP TALK!

Does circle of trust membership automatically renew? If so, how does one go about cancelling?

lol yes, I found out for myself that it auto renews for whatever the amount you decide to pay the first time. At that what it seems. At first my initial thought was whoa, I need to cancel this. Then I thought can I resubscribe for a lower cost? And then I did the math and figured $0.50 a day is definitely worth it(for me) and I would love to see where AiD goes from here. An investment with daily return.greenhorn1 wrote:Does circle of trust membership automatically renew? If so, how does one go about cancelling?
