Looked like they just used a projector to blast up the work on the wall so wouldnt really be that "hard", just really time consuming I am sure!simianfever wrote:I assume the hardest part was the initial transferring/mapping of the complete image with all those yellowish guidelines, after that you can probably work the details in a relatively small space without having to take in the whole image constantly.

David Choe is extremely shady.
I hope no one does anything with him for the long-term.

Did you listen to him on Joe Rogan's podcast where he discusses this in detail?machination wrote:David Choe is extremely shady.

I'm interested to see his techniques with the aerosol to see how he's going to cut in his details. I know he started off doing graff, but his style has lent so much more to the old timey inking / woodworking style that I'm stoked to see how he implements it into this piece.mfaith wrote:There's a lot more interesting things to talk about right now with what's going on in Hawaii. Not sure why this keeps coming up. Seems rather forced.
Yeah, for sure. You can start to see how he's layering in white for highlights similar to how he uses gouache on his pencil drawings. It's such a different animal though; it's interesting to see him adapt, and yet still keep the same level of artistry.ZLandrum wrote: I'm interested to see his techniques with the aerosol to see how he's going to cut in his details.
