I did shoot that spot back in October a believe. EExpected it to look a bit different, but with the lack of snow we've had, it looks about the same. I shot it from a different vantage point though compared to the other I did in fall. Personally, it's my favorite I age right now. Falling on my ass slipping on 8ce coming back down the little mountain was worth the shot. Then I got shots of tons of mountain goats driving back to town.Sithlord32 wrote:You shot that same location this summer yes?bryndavies wrote:Thanks. It's one of my newer favorites. I thought so It looked familiar. Effort seems to always provide results. One way or another.bryndavies wrote:I did shoot that spot back in October a believe. Had these two put onto canvasses last week - a couple from morning walks along Cocoa Beach in Florida on our hols. We were only up that early because of jetlag, worth it though... Only went square because none of the other rectangular canvasses were sized at 3:2 ratios. The square turned out nicely anyway.

Sorry to shamelessly post a sale listing here, but thought some Ebeaner might be interested in a tripod I'm trying to sell on the Bay.
251807992149
It's a sturdy Bogen/Manfrotto tripod with a standard head and elbow bracket. Could do local pickup if you're in the Chicago area. I used this beast with my medium and large format camera work, but I haven't done much of that recently. Hoping it can find a good home. Will also be listing my Toyo 4x5 field camera in the next week or so. It's so painful to sell something you love, so I'm really dragging my feet on that one. Still, if you're interested, drop me a pm. Rather it go to someone on here (whose work I might potentially see someday).
Again, sorry for the sale listing. Really enjoy this thread and keep up the creativity!!!!!
Just so I don't feel like such a useless beggar, here's one of my recent shots of my kiddo:

Thanks! I get the same thought when I see power lines.smokeycat wrote:When ever I see power lines like that, the kid in me can't help but think of Space Invaders! Great shots!
I'll have to remember to frequent this topic more often. Some great work here.
I am currently in Iceland and have to say it is THE most photogenic country I have ever been to. If any of you get the chance to go to Iceland, please go.
Here are a few of my favorites, and I also made a quick post here of my daily shots.
