Yes, I did unintentionally turn the little guy sideways in the pics - the print actually works quite well from a few perspectives! I'll get him right way up when I put him in his final spot. As to the manta-ray, that's srdzevon's handiwork!mfaith wrote:Unfortunately I don't have this piece yet, but isn't it turned sideways there? And who carved the manta-ray chop? That's pretty rad.
Hope you love it Dane!
This took way longer than I planned and I apologize again for that. It was a fun project that frustrated the hell out of me at times. Lots of long hikes until I finally found a piece of wood that would work. It's a crazy over the top thing, but I think something for THC should be. I love this group and hope it's something that honors Aaron's art that we all enjoy so much. Thanks to Deads for asking me to be a part of it.
The frame is just old beat up pine.
Here are a couple more pics I snapped before shipping it off.

Haven't seen a framed one yet, can't wait to see yours. And what the hell kind of office do you work in?!
As far as that Ruse, when srdzevon first showed it to me, I about fudge myself. He does such an amazing job, matching the frames with the art, he's definitely akin to Peacedog in that sense. They do an incredible job of complimenting the work and no distracting from it at the same time, the goal of just about everyone who does framing should be. (Sorry for the redundancy...sorry for the redundancy...)
