After a few years wait, we recently commissioned Chris Stevens for these Batman original art pieces. I had them shipped straight to Corey and he did a spectacular job. There's four mats, which provide three levels of depth – looks real cool!

Whoops – edited his name in. Chris Stevens. He's a Marvel & DC cover artist – best known for his work with markers (which is what the Bats pieces are.) He's recently gotten into oil, though. You can see a few of those pieces on his DeviantArt.

I was surprised at the lack of comic artists in the Mondo Batman gallery. I was expecting people outside Mondo's typical roster—too bad that wasn't the case.

That is all sorts of awesome in every way. Congratz on the piece and the frame up. It also gave me a better picture of a similar frame up i was looking at doing and now i can go ahead with confidence.
