Yeah, that's gotta look nuts. Ken Taylor's Nosferatu would look awesome in it too

Yeah, it was definitely while you were around, and at one point it was definitely available to all (I remember stumbling across it at one point and it was still available) but the price probably killed it for a lot of people.UrsusMorris wrote:I know they were available for preorder around early September, but i think you had to receive the email or somethin. Supposedly the leftovers were available to the general public at a later time. I could be way off base on all this, and if so, whoops. It was like $615, so i said fuuuuck that lol.

I was talking about the preorder (hence the mention of the sweetened pot). and no i may have had an account at that time but was in no way up to speed enough to a) know it was even a thing, and b) be in any position to take advantage it. i was only added to the list last month. But anyway, back to VACVVM-y things.
So it goes...

Both Eryops prints simply aren't my favorite images of his either and the high price tag just made it not worth buying for me. I'm sure it will be a nice package though. Hopefully some awesome extras are included for those who did buy one.

I'm not a fan of the prints either.

You have to appreciate his use of negative space though. Not my favorite Horkey image but few artists would commit to that much negative space and I appreciate that bold of a decision.UrsusMorris wrote:I'm not a fan of the prints either.

Eryops is one that has certainly grown on me over time. Mostly due to the mystery over the image. I wonder how that cyclopean entity fits in with the rest of Aaron's post hominid world.
ISO Horkey Stacy Lowery Paleo Deck. $$$$$$$ (or trade)

Oh i'm not knockin it in any way whatsoever, i'm just not a fan of the overall image personaly. Hork is a boss though, and you know there's crazy detail in everything he does.

Not trying to knock you as it's not my favorite image either. I just think it's amazing how he is able to contrast negative space (eryops, no-eyed owls, the border space in Remy Adrift) against incredibly detailed images.UrsusMorris wrote:Oh i'm not knockin it in any way whatsoever, i'm just not a fan of the overall image personaly.
