Given the number of professional athletes in the world and the caliber of competition, I'm surprised we don't see more of this kind of stuff. Very sad.

Side note: I clearly know nothing about cricket. This phrase from the above article is utter gibberish to me and I laugh at how ridiculous it sounds every time I read it:

Rock Scully, former manager of the Grateful Dead, passed away last night after a battle with lung cancer. Scully managed the Grateful Dead from 1965-1985 and is the co-author of the book Living with the Dead. He was 73.

That dude + Grease Band were the best. Along with the howls and growls Cocker also had a really sweet, dry tenor voice.
