I've recently bought some gold leaf. Haven't used it yet but plan on it. See how it turns out. Love the work.opalis121 wrote:Thanks WalterSobchak! Here is a new one for a show opening this weekend:
It might be kind of hard to see the details here as it is larger piece I tried to capture an image of. It is a triptych and has gold leaf (which doesn't reproduce so well in the image, sadly).

Thank you! What kind of leafing are you using? I recently have been using a leafing pen which, although not exact becuase of how they build the tips, is a lot easier than the traditional leafing process.I've recently bought some gold leaf. No problem. The work is real nice man! I don't know what I'm using. Not home at the moment. Check back on that. Bought a starter pack with square sheets and apply syrup LMAO. I'm not a bad artist but fairly new to trying anything out. Been working in pencil for a looooooooong time and can't get away from it. Drawing and photography are so boss. Just love the way you can keep going with a pencil. Trying to step outside the box, any tips are well liked, though it feels like the only way to learn is by doing yourself and messing up.opalis121 wrote:Thank you! What kind of leafing are you using?
