I'm sorry to be critical but this has absolutely no vibe, essence, sentiment or resemblance to Blondie. It just seems like a completely dialed in photoshop trace by one of Sheps interns.

Fitting for a Warhol inspired piece?downtown wrote:I'm sorry to be critical but this has absolutely no vibe, essence, sentiment or resemblance to Blondie. It just seems like a completely dialed in photoshop trace by one of Sheps interns.
Well I have to say Warhol doesn't jump to mind either although I have to believe Sheps description of the piece. Andy's portrait of her was textural and poppy in a much different way, but now I'm splitting hairs. Some people will love this I'm sure so I will be quite now.Ifightfortheusers wrote:Fitting for a Warhol inspired piece?downtown wrote:I'm sorry to be critical but this has absolutely no vibe, essence, sentiment or resemblance to Blondie. Freddie!!
It's truly terrible. I haven't seen nearly as many Fairey prints as a lot of the hardcore Shep fans have but this is by far the worst I have ever seen. That mouth and grill are beyond wrong.downtown wrote:I'm sorry to be critical but this has absolutely no vibe, essence, sentiment or resemblance to Blondie. The nose looks like something from twilight zone and the face looks like a skeleton. I couldnt find any younger pics of her wearing her hair like that either.
