If its not proprietary information, what printer do y'all use to make these? Epson 9600 with pigmented inks?

i'm guessing that the if giclee's are that huge, and of much better quality, they're going to be far more expensive than the secondary market for the current 'flight...' prints.

not that i'd still buy one now but where are people seeing these on the secondary market? i looked for months with no luck.Bralumian wrote:i'm guessing that the if giclee's are that huge, and of much better quality, they're going to be far more expensive than the secondary market for the current 'flight...' prints.
oh, and i don't know exactly which type of printer's being used for these - we have a printer in-house that could do prints like these, but we're still having these done through a company that specializes in thsi type of fine art printing. they know better than us how to deal with problems that could come up, etc, etc. i think that epson might be the one we have in our office, though
i got to peak over aaron's shoulder on friday while he looked one of these over. the grin on his face makes me think he approves entirely. i'm crossing my fingers for a gaping maw giclee too... that lil' farting creature is my favorite.

Gaping Maw has always been my vote, for sure.
