Huh. My red landed about a week ago.SFLOEGEL wrote:Silver shipping notification, but still nothing on the red.
And I just got shipping notice on the silver as well. I purchased from the UK storefront Obey had linked to - it seems they are shipping from the UK, based on the delivery estimates they posted:
Standard Delivery Times
UK Approximately 1-4 working days
Europe Approximately 4-7 working days
USA / Canada Approximately 7-14 working days
Rest of the World Approximately 7-20 working days (depending on location)
It could be that the above was just cut & pasted from their usual shipping email. Postage was awfully cheap ($8)...

Oh Boy , I think the silver is going to be trouble for a lot of you guys.
Just a thin triangle covered in blue plastic bag , no kraft paper , and a ton of space for movement within the triangle itself.
Thankfully mine survived without issue ....good luck.

Some folks were posting numbers as low as 643600XX. Mine was way up there at 643608XX.iwokeinrelief wrote:(not really sure what constitutes a high number, truth be told)misterwhisper wrote:choke wrote:Just got shipping on Silver, and had an astronomically high order #.
Now I'm just trying to not let Fatty's pics make me nervous.

Well this should be in great shape after traveling halfway around the world in that packaging. What could possibly go wrong?
I just received an email from the UK store, I guess they oversold:
"There has been a stock delay obtaining items for order C122xxxx.
Order No. C122xxxx — Friday, October 24, 2014 6:01:43 PM
Item(s) Delayed
1 × Shepard Fairey 'Poster For George' Signed & Numbered Silver Edition (Art) - £40.00
If you would like to wait to receive all items in your order at the same time you don't need to do anything. We will keep trying to obtain the out of stock item(s) for you."

It wasn't clear before the sale where they would be selling them so it was an easy error to make. I bought from the UK site because that's where Shep's Obey link took me. It was stupid that they were selling it from 2 sites and they didn't explain the fact.danjohnjohnson wrote:UK store purchase here as well. Also received the delay email this morning. Had no idea there was a US store as I just followed the link on the Obey site. Guess that's what I get for not doing my research...
Sorry to hear about the oversell.
Mine shipped from the UK and I'm definitely scared to see how it arrives!

Who you calling fatty you Canadian twat?canuck wrote:Was that from the UK store fatty?
Yes Mike , that was from the UK store ...ridiculously low postage even for a UK-UK shipment really (£2.75) , but the first thing that entered my head when I picked it up and heard it slide was "oh oh".
Still , it's by faaaaarrrr the cheapest current Obey that I've ever bought.
