It might be kind of hard to see the details here as it is larger piece I tried to capture an image of. It is a triptych and has gold leaf (which doesn't reproduce so well in the image, sadly).
I've recently bought some gold leaf. Haven't used it yet but plan on it. See how it turns out. Love the work.

I've recently bought some gold leaf. Haven't used it yet but plan on it. See how it turns out. Love the work.
Thank you! What kind of leafing are you using? I recently have been using a leafing pen which, although not exact becuase of how they build the tips, is a lot easier than the traditional leafing process.

No problem. The work is real nice man! I don't know what I'm using. Not home at the moment. Check back on that. Bought a starter pack with square sheets and apply syrup LMAO. I'm not a bad artist but fairly new to trying anything out. Been working in pencil for a looooooooong time and can't get away from it. Drawing and photography are so boss. Just love the way you can keep going with a pencil. Trying to step outside the box, any tips are well liked, though it feels like the only way to learn is by doing yourself and messing up.
