Amazingsolepole wrote:This was "painted" by the incredible Zaria Forman. Titled "Untitled #46" and is an image of the seas and clouds in Greenland. (Unfortunately this horrible photo does not do this piece justice!) (and unfortunately that is the only wall in our entire house that can fit this 60"x42" beast)
She was the first friend I made at Skidmore College in 2001 and since graduating she has become remarkably well known and has works in galleries and collections all over the world. I couldn't be more proud of her. All her work is created by "smudging" pastels on paper. Her work has evolved a lot since she made Untitled #46 (2006). When viewing her current work, most people cannot believe that what they are seeing is an image created using only her fingertips. I've attached some JPEGs of some of her current stuff for you all to see... Unfortunately it is WAY out of my price range now! (Check her work out by googling "zaria forman", or just visit http://www.zariaforman.com)
