That makes sense. No Code is my favorite PJ album, and Yield is my second favorite. And I go to the show sandwiched between the two where those albums are played in full.

drymount
Same, No Code and Yield flip-flop as my #1, depends on the week really. That said MN was maybe the best show of my life. I was 3 people deep right in front of Ed. During Porch all of a sudden I look up and he's literally right on top of me singing right to us. As he sang "hold my hand" he reaches out and grabs my hand. In that moment there was nothing but pure drymounting ecstasy. They nailed every single song, and you could tell they really had a lot of fun on stage. Laughing the whole time, adding songs that weren't on the setlist, playing off the energy of the crowd. Best crowd ever too, everyone around me was dancing and screaming their hearts out. There is definitely something to be said about being close, you feel like they're playing just for you.
Side notes-- caught three picks, drank Ed's wine, met some of THE coolest fans ever.. oh and did I mention Ed was right on top of me for Porch? You should see the video I got, it's insane. Great night, great memories

I'm always shocked when no one grabs his dick when he does that.

I'd say it's about a 90% chance of being in my house before RSD 2015

Side note.... I am feeling pretty good about finally getting Alone or Thumbing in Denver. No reason, I just feel really good about it. Two of the last few songs I really, really would like.

Good luck on getting those, I've been fortunate to hear tem once, Wrigley/Alone and Mansfield 2003/Thumbing.

I was at Wrigley... No Alone :?

But those Mansfeld shows I listen to every now and then. Must have been nuts to get all those gems.

My bad you're right, I had to go back and check the setlists, it was Hartford 2013 I saw them play Alone.

The Mansfield shows back then were incredible.

I love Pearl Jam tour season. The prints (now stickers), the setlists, the fun stories like the dude that should have grabbed Eddie's crotch during Porch... This is the only time I ever go back to the PJ forums. No shows for me this round, but as always, looking forward to the next one.

Between the Mansfield 2003 trio and the Orpheum in 1994 ... I don't think I can ever complain about missing out, those shows certainly crossed off a lot of rarities for me.

The sheer excitement on July 2, 2003 when EV laid out what they were going to do over the three nights in Mansfield was insane ... if you remove the acoustic set on 7/11, 7/2 is still probably my favorite show of those three.

Looking forward to whatever zaniness transpires at Bridge School this weekend.

I got Thumbing twice in 2003. My big one was Dissident and I finally saw that last tour in Brooklyn.

First time I heard Chloe/Crown was a highlight for me and really dug hearing Bugs in Wrigley.

The Philly shows in '09 followed by MSG in '10 were like pushing the reset for me regarding set wishlists.
Last year I went to both Philly shows and not one song came to mind as a "want."
It was awesome. It was like seeing them again for the first time.
I walked away thinking they were the best shows I had ever seen...just like every Pearl Jam show.
